A lot of add-ons merge rows into documents. What I cared about is what happens when something goes wrong. With most of them, when a form trigger stops working, nothing tells you. You find out a week later when someone asks where their certificate is. Google doesn't email anyone when an add-on's trigger fails, so unless the add-on does it, nobody knows.
MergeWorks writes a status on every row, keeps a run log, retries the errors that are worth retrying, and emails you when a row fails. That's the whole pitch.
{{Name}} - {{Course}}, and optionally an email with the PDF attached.Rows marked Done are skipped, so running it twice doesn't make duplicates. To redo a row, clear its status. Files go into a "MergeWorks output" folder in your Drive.
25 merges a month. Everything works, including email and form triggers.
A merge is one row turned into its files (Doc, PDF or both) and its email. Cancel any time from your billing page; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Payments go through Stripe.
When you install it, Google shows a list of what the add-on can do. Here's each one. None of them are Google's "restricted" kind, the ones that reach your whole Drive or read your email.
Email hello@lemnosholdings.com. I read these myself. If a row failed, the text from the MW Error column or the Run log line is usually enough, no need to share the sheet.
If something fails, first look at the "Run log" sheet. Most errors are a column that was renamed, an email address with a typo, or a template link you no longer have access to. Fix it, then Extensions > MergeWorks > Retry rows with errors.
